What types of ISAs are available?
There is a Stocks and Shares Maxi ISA or Mini ISA. You can invest £7,000 in a Maxi ISA or £4,000 in a Mini. You cannot invest in both a mini or maxi ISA in the same year. If you opt for a Mini Stocks & Shares ISA, you can invest up to £3,000 in cash in a Cash ISA aswell.
You cannot buy a Cash ISA and a Maxi Stocks & Shares ISA. You can have a Cash Mini ISA without having a Stocks and Shares ISA.
